Chelsea Turner graduates Magna Cum Laude

Several achievements, activities noted at Bellarmine

Chelsea Turner of Magnolia graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bellarmine University May 8.

She received a bachelor of arts in psychology (human services emphasis) with minors in sociology and peace studies. She was inducted into the Psi Chi National Honor Society and was on the Dean’s List 2006-2010. At Bellarmine, she was involved in the Psychology Club, Alliance for Women, Undergraduate Research Week, Sociology Club, University Democrats, Kentucky Psychology Association, Mid-America Undergraduate Research Conference and Save Darfur Coalition.

She was a world history tutor and participated in Books Behind Bars. She completed internships with Dismas Charities of Louisville and as a teacher’s assistant at Bellarmine.

She will attend Kent School at University of Louisville for her masters of science in social work this fall.

She is the daughter of Arthur Lee and Cindy Turner of Magnolia.
