An educator, a pair of sports-minded men and one of LaRue County’s oldest businesses were among those honored Thursday night as the LaRue County Chamber of Commerce conducted its annual awards banquet at First Baptist Church.
Paul Mullins, principal at LaRue County High School, was named Outstanding Citizen of the Year. Mullins was praised for his positive attitude and the improvements made at the high school as he led faculty and students through the Laptops of LaRue project.
