Jessica Davis, executive director of the LaRue County Chamber of Commerce, announced her resignation Friday to Chamber members.
According to Davis’ letter to the membership-at-large, her family will be moving to Bowling Green so she can pursue other career goals and her husband can finish his degree.
“This decision was not easy and I will miss the people here,” she wrote. “My most rewarding experience during my time here was working with such civic minded people.”
Davis’ last day is July 27.
The Chamber has started the search for another director.
