Cecil honored for academic excellence

A LaRue County resident was honored for her academic success at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia.

Amanda Cecil of Hodgenville was recognized at the college’s President’s List and Dean’s List banquet.

Students recognized at the banquet had been named in the last year to either the college’s President’s List or Dean’s List.

Students named to the President’s List have a semester grade point average of 4.0 on a 4.0 scale in 12 hours of academic credit.

Students named to the Dean’s List have a semester grade point average of at least 3.5 in 12 hours of academic credit.
