A Campbellsville man who was injured during set-up of a carnival is improving, according to Ann “Snookie” Morrison.
Ronald Brown, 38, was standing on top of a giant slide on the back of a truck as it was being backed inside the LaRue County Fairgrounds. Brown was either struck by an electrical wire or tried to raise the wire and was shocked, according to Morrison, vice president of the fair board.
Brown, an employee of Derby City Amusements, was flown by air ambulance to University Hospital in Louisville.
