Canter awarded UK scholarship

Hannah Elizabeth Canter, a student from LaRue County, has been awarded a Presidential Scholarship to attend the University of Kentucky this fall.

The Presidential Scholarship is worth more than $31,500. It provides the cost of in-state tuition for four years.

Canter is the daughter of Gary and D.J. Canter and the 2009 valedictorian of LaRue County High School.
