The Campbellsville University Concert Chorus will present part one of Mendelssohn's “Elijah” at 8 p.m. Nov. 27 in the sanctuary of Campbellsville Baptist Church, 530 N. Central Avenue, Campbellsville.
“Elijah” is a major oratorio by Mendelssohn that tells the story of the biblical character, Elijah, in various historical settings.
Dr. Wesley Roberts, professor of music, will accompany the 50-voice chorus. Singing the role of “Elijah” is baritone Dr. Mark Bradley, professor of music.
The program is free and open to the public.
Concert Chorus members include Felicia Gray, a freshman alto of Magnolia; and
Blake Whitlock, a senior bass of Hodgenville.
