Hodgenville City Police apprehended early Tuesday a man suspected of breaking in Sammy’s Market in Sonora.
According to Police Chief Steve Johnson, Jacob Ritchie, 18, address unknown, allegedly broke in the market between 3 and 4 a.m. Ritchie began walking on Ky. 84 and was picked up by a motorist.
“According to the story we got, when he was in the vehicle, he told them he broke in and tried to get money out of the ATM,” Johnson said.
