A boil water advisory has been issued by Hodgenville Water Works for customers on Lincoln Boulevard in the vicinity of LaRue County High School, LaRue County EMS, Lincoln Trail Mobile Home Park and the County Barn.
The advisory was issued due to a water line being hit while other repairs were being made. The City shut down ongoing repairs to deal with the new break.
Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking. Bring water to a rolling boil for three minutes - and let cool - before using.
The advisory will remain in effect until test results have shown the water to be of an acceptable quality by the Kentucky Division of Water.
No contaminants have been confirmed to the area's water.
