A benefit raffle and yard sale is planned Saturday for Jeremy Noe, 28, at the Upton Community Center on College Street.
Noe was diagnosed with Stage 4 melanoma on his left ear in June and will be unable to work for at least a year. The problems with his ear began in February 1998 when Noe was in a car crash. He was thrown through the windshield and his ear was severed.
The ear was reattached and Noe was told it would be sensitive to the sun. Noe’s employment with an asphalt company required him to be outdoors much of the time.
