The LaRue County Beef Cattle Association is offering two $1,000 college scholarships to graduating high school seniors.
Scholarship applications are available at the LaRue County High School guidance counselor’s office and the LaRue County Extension office.
Applications must be returned to the LaRue County Extension office no later than 4:30 p.m. April 29.
The winners will be notified by mail before the end of the school year.
Scholarship applications will be judged based on financial need, scholarship and community service. Priority will be given to a member, child or grandchild of a member of the LaRue County Beef Cattle Association, to students pursuing a degree in agriculture or agriculture-related field and students from an agriculture background.
