Band of Hawks to offer ‘thank you’ concert Thursday

The LaRue County High School Band of Hawks competed in the Kentucky Music Educators Association Regional Quarterfinals last weekend. The band earned a Distinguished Rating and the right to move on to State Competition next Saturday.  

The band takes the field in KMEA Semifinals at 12:45 p.m. at Meade County High School. The week will be filled with preparations for the band’s State Championship appearance.
