Saturday’s Wolverine Classic raised $2,500 toward the Feeding America BackPack Program which helps needy children and families in the area.

Longtime Wolverine lineman Charlie Hopkins said the money was good enough to sponsor 30 kids for the school year. The program provides food to children for the weekend.

Receiver JaJuan Spillman and running back Moonie Cunningham each scored three touchdowns as the Wolverines wrapped up their regular season with a 61-0 win over the visiting Columbus (Ohio) Gladiators at LaRue County High School.
