Back-to-School Reminders

Kindergarten Launch – Aug. 2, 9-11 a.m., HES lunchroom

Parent Meeting – Aug. 2, 6-7 p.m., HES kindergarten classrooms

Back-to-School Bash – Aug. 6, 5-7 p.m. (Supplies may be brought to the classroom)

 – 4th-5th grades, 5-5:45 p.m.

 – 1st-3rd grades, 5:45-7 p.m.

First Day – Aug. 8, 7:45 a.m.-2:55 p.m. (Doors open at 7:15 a.m.)

Breakfast will be served.

* If you are bringing your child into school the first day, do not park in the drop-off line. Park in the lot or in the grass if necessary. 

* Doors open at 7:15 a.m. First bell rings at 7:40 a.m.; tardy bell at 7:45 a.m.  Students arriving after 7:45 a.m. will not be counted tardy the first two days of school.

* Students will bring home various forms that will need to be filled out and signed. Complete all forms and have your child return them as soon as possible.

* Dismissal is at 2:55 p.m. Students riding buses will dismiss first, followed by car riders. Remember everything takes longer the first few days of school.
