Attorney charged with promoting contraband

At the request of the Bullitt County Detention Center the Kentucky State Police was asked to investigate an alleged promoting contraband violation. The jail staff recovered a syringe that had allegedly been smuggled into the jail by way of an inmate's attorney.

While interviews were being conducted, the suspect, Michael S. Wade, 31, of Louisville, arrived at the jail to meet with his client.
