All bids for Sonora school rejected

The Hardin County School Board voted last week to reject all offers for the former Sonora Elementary School property and ask for new bids for its sale.

The board received five bids for the property, which is split into two sections. One section includes the building, and the other section includes land behind the building where the playground and sports fields are located.

Only the City of Sonora made a combined bid for both pieces of property. The other bids were made by individuals.
