Students at Abraham Lincoln Elementary celebrated their reading goals for the past grading quarter with a ‘50’s Sock Hop. In order to attend, students had to meet the Principal’s Challenge Goal criteria of doubling their reading points and maintaining an 85 percent comprehension within their individual reading level. DJ Michael Sietsema provided the tunes as about 165 students joined in the fun. Door prizes were given and refreshments were served.
