ALES staff appreciates support from schools, community

 We would like to say thank you to the wonderful people of LaRue County for the love and support shown to us during the loss of our beloved principal, Amber Thurman.

So many of you showed kindness by sending cards, preparing food, donating money and saying prayers to get us through those first days of shock and sadness. Thank you to the staffs of LaRue County High School, LaRue County Middle School, FYRC and the Central Office for providing lunches for our staff and for being there to help with whatever was needed. A special thanks to our sister school, Hodgenville Elementary, for lunch, the "hallway hearts" for the students and for being there with us at school on Saturday morning when we were at such a loss. Thanks to the parents of our students who have been supportive in so many ways.  We have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of support from the entire community.
