ALES and HES induct Junior Beta members

Elementaries have 72 students join organization

Seventy-two fifth-grade students from Hodgenville Elementary and Abraham Lincoln Elementary were granted membership into the National Junior Beta Association Nov. 24 at Abraham Lincoln Elementary. Beta members from LaRue County Middle School assisted sponsors Allison McDowell and Traci Weaver in the induction ceremony held before a crowd of parents and teachers. As members of this association, students must not only meet academic requirements, but display leadership and community spirit.

Members from ALES are Kaylan Anderson, Rachel Armes, Grace Armes, Brendan Aubrey, Brittany Blair, Jordan Brock, Jacob Cecil, Hayley Cecil, Haley Croft, Cameron Dawson, Sara Estes, Heath Graham, Kaylee Gum, Alexa Herrin, Brandon Hurt, Ashley McCoy, Celeste Menard, Cade Milby, Seth Newby, Gillian Nunn, Autumn Riggs, Scotty Rogers, Dylan Strausser, Braxton Stirsman, Virginia Taylor, Jacob Thomas, Tristan Waddle, Hattie Ward, Zack Wells and Riley Whitaker.
