Rabbit Club

The LaRue County 4-H Rabbit Club will meet 4 p.m. July 22 at the Extension Service office. County 4-H Rabbit Show entry forms may be turned in at this meeting or to the Extension Service by July 21. Registration forms are available from the Extension Office. Dog Show

The LaRue County 4-H Dog Show will be 10:30 a.m. July 24 at the Extension Service office. Classes include showmanship, obedience, agility and costume. Age divisions are cloverbuds (ages 5 to 8 as of Jan. 1, 2010), juniors (ages 9-13) and seniors (ages 14-18). Members planning to participate in the 4-H Dog Show should call the Extension Office at 358-3401 by 4:30 p.m. Friday. If you have questions or would like to schedule a practice session before the show, contact the 4-H Dog Club Leader, Donna Taul, at 270 774-7489. Project Entry Day

4-H Project Entry Day will be 10 a.m.-1 p.m. July 26 at the Floral Hall building at the LaRue County Fairgrounds. 4-H Classes are listed in the County Fair catalog and available from the Extension Service office. If you have questions about class requirements, contact the Extension Office at 358-3401. Early entries will be taken at the Extension Office through 4:30 p.m. July 23.

Rabbit Show

The LaRue County 4-H Rabbit Show will be July 31 at the LaRue County Fairgrounds immediately following the 8 a.m. Fun Show. Pre-registration is required. Forms are available from the Extension Service office and are due by July 21 or may be submitted at the 4-H Rabbit Club meeting 4 p.m. July 22. Pick up entries

4-H County Fair entries may be picked up from Floral Hall any time between 10 a.m. and noon July 31. State Fair Rabbit Show

State Fair 4-H Rabbit Show registration forms must be submitted to the Extension Service office by 4:30 p.m. Aug. 6. The State Fair 4-H Rabbit Show will be Aug. 20.
