Shooting Sports meet

The 4-H Shooting Sports Club will meet and have practice 6:30 p.m. May 6 at the New Haven Gun Club. For more information about 4-H Shooting Sports or to sign up to participate, contact 4-H Agent Misty Wilmoth at 358-3401 or mwilmoth@uky.edu.

Livestock Club

The 4-H Livestock Club will meet 7 p.m. May 10 at the LaRue County Extension Service office. Any child wishing to show livestock through 4-H must attend meetings and earn a minimum of six educational hours provided by a certified livestock volunteer by June 1. This requirement is in place for the county fair, Department of Agriculture district shows and the state fair. The Wrangler’s 4-H Horse Club will meet 7 p.m. May 11 at the LaRue County Extension Service.   Cloverbuds

The 4-H Cloverbuds will meet 3:15-4:30 p.m. May 13 at the Extension Service office. Cloverbud activities are open to youth ages 5 to 8 or in kindergarten through third grade. New members are welcome to attend.

Poultry Club

The 4-H Poultry Club will meet 3:30-5 p.m. May 17 at the Extension Service office. Any child with an interest in poultry is encouraged to attend.

4-H Camp

4-H Camp registration fees are due by May 21. Many parents have paid the $75 deposit but still owe the remainder. Please make full payment by the deadline. If you are unsure of what you still owe, contact the Extension Office at 358-3401.
