Enrollment open for 4-H
It is time for current 4-H members to re-enroll and new members to join. 4-H is open to LaRue County youth ages 9 to 18. as of Jan. 1. Youth ages 5 to 8 may join 4-H as a Cloverbud. Various project clubs are available to join, or a child may join as a member at large. The 4th and 5th graders at HES and ALES will have a 4-H club meeting at school once a month. 4-H enrollment forms are available from the Extension Service office or http://ces.ca.uky.edu/larue/enrollment.
Poultry Club to meet
The LaRue County 4-H Poultry Club will meet 3:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Extension Service office. LaRue County youth ages 9 to 18 with an interest in poultry are encouraged to attend.
The LaRue County 4-H Shooting Sports Club will practice 6:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at the New Haven Gun Range. New members are welcome to attend. 4-H Council to meet
The LaRue County 4-H Council will meet 6:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Extension Service office. The 4-H Council oversees the county 4-H program and helps with program planning and evaluation.
