Courtesy of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, job seekers and businesses in LaRue County have an opportunity this summer for short-term employment.
WorkNow Kentucky will put nearly 10,000 disadvantaged youth and adults with children to work this summer statewide, according to a press release from Gov. Steve Beshear’s communications office. The program aims to jumpstart job creation by subsidizing the wages and benefits of eligible participants who are hired through the program.
