The LaRue County Public Library will begin its Summer Reading Program this year on June 10.

Registration for the program began on May 22. With your registration your child will receive a gift bag with items for this year’s theme, “Dig Into Reading” as well as coupons for the Louisville Zoo, the Corvette Museum, Adventure Water Park and more.

Additionally this year, the Library will be having a drawing for an iPad to be given away to a participant. Children ages 5-17 will be given the opportunity to enter their name in the drawing for every book they have read between the programs beginning and July 31.

There will be multiple programs over the summer for children to participate in, including the Scholastic Book Fair July 15-20.

Everyone is invited to participate in this year’s Summer Reading Program. For more details, contact Katie Wheatley at 358-3851.
